More Sci-fi Civilians

Recently finished the last of my Crooked Dice Sci-fi civilians. These are all 28mm metal figs from their Colony 87 line.

A great assortment of sci-fi figs.

Sci-fi Civvies

Finished some more sci-fi civilian figures late last week. These 28mm metal figs are from Crooked Dice Miniatures and are from their Colony 87 line of figs.

The Crooked Dice range has all sorts of civilian figs you'd see in a spaceport/town be it a frontier world or a world at the core of populated space. Tons of character to these figs.

On my paint table is the last batch of Colony 87 figs.

First Figs of 2023 - Japanese Peasants

Here are my first figs completed this year. These are part of my ongoing (10+ year) Samurai project. These 28mm metal figs are from The Assault Group (TAG). These are peasants from their Medieval Asia line of figs.

Probably the easiest figs I've painted up for this project mainly due to the complete lack of armour to paint.

I also completed this lone robot figure. This 28mm resin fig is a Salvager Bot from Crooked Dice's Colony 87 line.

Next post will be some more Colony 87 figs.

Ants and Death Troopers

For my final post of the year I've got a small assortment of figs completed. First up is a group of giant ants. These figs, with the exception of the two large ones, are all metal. Those two are resin. These figs were from the Crooked Dice Games 7TV Apocalypse Kickstarter that got sent out earlier this year.

Also completed is a squad of Imperial Death Troopers from Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Legion line.

These figs were relatively quick and easy to paint up. The trick was not to actually paint them complete black as the details would be harder to see. They turned out alright I guess.

And finally I have this lone female civilian from Sash and Saber's French and Indian War line.

Due to some of the bonus challenges in the Paint Challenge, I will probably be posting up a lone figure a couple times before the end of the challenge.

Have a Happy New Year!
