War of 1812 - US Artillery

Last night I finished off a unit of US artillery. Figures are from All The King's Men.
Remaining for my MayDay game is a unit of militia, US cavalry and two US generals.  The militia are already well under way and I hope to have them almost finished by the end of the weekend.

    Do you think the two guys with arms outstretched are maybe supposed to be positioning the cannon by moving the wheels? I've seen that pose before and always thought of it as the "whoa! that was loud" pose. But maybe it has some specific purpose? Nice painting!

    I'm thinking it's more like the "come at me bro!" pose.
